Bluetooth setup

After you have downloaded the Beam Remote app on your smartphone/tablet, open the app. Now you should be able to control Beam via Bluetooth (if this doesn’t work, press ‘retry’ in the Beam Remote app or close/reopen the Beam Remote app on your device again).

Use the Beam Remote app to navigate to the ‘Next’ button on the first screen of the Wi-Fi setup. Now the following page will appear on Beam’s display:

Instead of ‘NEXT’, use the touchpad in the Beam Remote App to move the cursor to
‘SKIP WI-FI SETUP’ located in the bottom left part of Beam’s display. You will be able to connect Beam to your Wi-Fi network later in the settings menu of Beam.

After you have pressed ‘SKIP WI-FI SETUP’, Beam will show its home screen:

On your Beam Remote app, click on the icon ‘Settings’ located in the bottom part of the Beam Remote app. Another option is to use the Beam Remote app to navigate to the top right of the home screen of Beam and click on ‘Settings’.

Go to the tab ‘Wi-Fi’ and turn your Wi-Fi on. A list of available Wi-Fi networks will now appear:

Use the Beam Remote app to click on your home network. Now enter the password for your Wi-Fi network and connect to it.

Congratulations! You have successfully connected Beam to your Wi-Fi network.
